El-Rufai, Wigwe, Mo Abudu, Joke Silva,  Ighodalo others celebrate Sanwo-Olu at 55

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu (BOS) clocked 55 years yesterday, June 25.

The governor was celebrated in a surprise birthday message from grateful Lagosians, well-wishers and thought leaders of the state.

Leading the lineup of messages was Governor Nasir El-Rufai, his Kaduna state counterpart, referring to Governor Sanwo-Olu as “aburo” while joining the rest of Lagos to felicitate with him. 

The thoughtful video montage featured well-known faces such as Access Bank Plc Group Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe; Mo Abudu -CEO EbonyLife Media; Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of Trinity House Nigeria, Joke Silva (MFR), MI Abaga and various Lagosians from all sectors extolling the virtues of the Governor, while offering words of prayer and support.

Other personalities who paid tribute to the Lagos State Governor include John Momoh (OON) -Chairman/CEO, Channels Media Group; House of Tara Founder, Tara Fela-Durotoye, Olajumoke Adenowo -Principal Architect, AD Consulting, singers Timi Dakolo, TY Bello and a host of well-meaning Lagosians.

BOS was described as a “cool governor who shows up for Lagosians” by MI Abaga; “a man whose friendship inspires loyalty” by Jackie Hathiramani, CEO, DANA Group. Adenike Ogunlesi, Founder, Ruff’ n’ Tumble charged him to continue “steering Lagos with passion and courage”, while Alibaba GCFR encouraged him to “keep pointing us in the right direction”.

Happy birthday Mr Governor. Here’s to another exceptional year of leadership.
