Manchester United Eye Sancho in New Deal

Amid the quest of achieving stability upfront, Manchester United have identified £100 rated Jadon Sancho as an appropriate addition to Olegunar Solskjaer men.

The England International has been heavily linked with a return to Premier League after leaving Manchester City for Dortmund in 2017 for regular playing time.

Report suggests that a significant fee around the region of £90million – £100million will be agreed for Dortmund to let loose of the 20-year-old forward who is now holding meetings with the United hierarchy to reach agreement on personal terms.

Those discussions are continuing and centers on the structure of the deal with Dortmund sticking to their maximum asking price.

Complete Sport understands that Dortmund want at least half of that up front and negotiations will continue this week about how the total package is made up though all parties are optimistic an agreement will be reached.

Sancho’s current Dortmund deal, due to run until 2022, is worth in the region of £190,000-per week and he can expect a considerable pay hike in line with his expected transfer fee and status as one of the most exciting players in world football.

If Dortmund asking fee pulls through, then Sancho is set to become the most expensive player signed by an English club, topping the £89m United paid to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus in 2016.

That price tag would also beat Gareth Bale’s £86m move from Tottenham to Real Madrid in 2013, meaning Sancho would also become the most expensive ever British player.
