Inter sign Sanchez on permanent deal

Inter Milan took up their option on Thursday to sign Chilean international Alexis Sanchez on a permanent three-year deal after a long season at the Italian club.

Sanchez scored four goals in 29 games for Inter after joining the club on a year-long loan as against five goals in 45 games for Premier League side Manchester United.

“Everyone at Manchester United wishes Alexis Sanchez all the best in his future career as he joins Inter Milan on a permanent transfer.” A statement on Manchester United website confirmed Sanchez exit.

Sanchez will not be executing the quest alone but will be in company of former United teammates Romelu Lukaku as well as Ashley Young who also were part of the that finished second-place in the league this season.
